May the snow melt soon
It is supposed to go to 9 degrees this Saturday and some snow should melt (not much)
If I can see asphalt I will ride

Just put on the first 26 miles of 2014 this evening when I rode out to my motorcycle club's first meeting of the year. Temperatures warmed up to 20 degrees here, so it was time to ride!

You are so lucky, the only thing I don't like is the ride at night in this cold as you can not see the ice
Starting Friday the temps are going above freezing for at least 5 days, if I see the road I will ride

Just passed into double digits (f) here in NEOhio and sunny. We missed the big snow that hit other parts of the country so, clearly, this is easy riding weather....Besides, if I go down I'll be so heavily layered it'll be like a big soft marshmallow hitting the turf.

70 degrees tomorrow!
I'm hoping the weather turns bad soon (112 degrees) so I don't break the bank hitting all my service intervals in my first year of ownership!

Yes I still want to ride, this is the worst winter I can remember in a long time. We had a winter like this about 5 years ago then prior to that it was (or it seems) to have been since I was a kid in the 1970's. I still have not seen the asphalt this winter since mid December.

The snow won't stop here in Chicago. Supposed to have wind chills of -35 degrees tonight. WTF? I figure at least another two months before I get back out on the scoot. Snow and ice have been on the ground pretty much since mid-November.

I'm beyond depressed. I spend all night watching motorcycle porn on youtube. Dying to ride. On the way to work in the mornings I try to imagine myself on my scoot instead of driving my big hulking SUV.

I finally got out to ride. This is the first time since mid December with the winter we have had. Yes there have been a few days I may have ridden but the temperature was below freezing and there was a good chance of ice. Today it was above freezing and the snow is melting. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same (but warmer).
This ride also gave me a chance to try my barkbusters I installed back in December and they worked great, keeping any wind off my hands and along with the heated grips I do not know if there is anything finer. Now to try the barkbusters in the rain.

he he he Vancouver today

Looks like you need an outrigger wheel or sidecar. Or maybe you just ought to get a sidecar Ural with two wheel drive for those winter months.
