It appears that BMW i3 comes in a full electric as well as a hybrid with the 650cc motor from our bikes running a generator to charge the batts. That is good news for support and development of the engine.

yup, it's the scoots motor. was only talking about this today.

I'm guessing it's governed at 3k or less rpm to give it the lower power output and high economy. It only needs to turn a generator anyways.

It is nice to know that they have confidence in the engine in a Veh. That they are charging quite a bit of money for.
