Has anybody used a K&N filter long-term on C650?
Any side issues like premature cylinder wear?
Any upsides like more power?

I myself now had experience. It is more smoother torque everywhere, definitely worth it.
I actually found more value in opening the front of the engine (intake) than the rear (baffle out of GPR). I have put the baffle back in since the engine does need backpressure, and there is no catalyst in the underbelly blob of 2016+ models, only in stock exhaust, so…baffle does it.
Yeah go for K&N well worth.
