Thanks for the reply Yves! Yeah the condensation cleared very quickly so like u said it’s vented so wil mist and clear based on temperatures. Yes I want to take it in and get the software updated. Also do you know anything regarding rear wheel alignment? The back tyre has been replaced and while riding handle bars are very slightly off center, assume this is due to slight rear wheel alignment. Mine is on this versionello when you said that the handle barre off center do you mean not dead center but a little turn to the right or left?

If so it's the same for me, at my dealer they said it's a easy fix, sometimes when you hit a big hole it can off set the alignement of the handle and the drive shaft who goes down to the front wheel. There is no alignement of the back tire if it would be the back tire then that mean your swing arm would be off, you would have a different sound of the belt.

Ok thanks good to hear ! Belt is quite so must be the adjustment you refer to will get BMW to sort it out when it goes for its service to update the SW.
my ride to work is 21km each way with about 60-70% motorway riding some of which is at 100km/h. I have charged the bike once so since I’ve had it and charged it to 92% , when I left in the morning and rode up my road ( about 500metres ) the battery dropped really quickly to about 86% in that short trip.
After a to work and back the battery is at 48% and saying I can ride another 50km.
Sounds about right considering the cold-ish weather and the motorway speeds.
Was just a bit surprised initially how quickly from start in the morning up my road it dropped.
Will try a full charge on mt next to work and back.

I really don’t like these indicator’cages’ so have asked a friend wh does custom 3d scanning and printing to come up with something that will sit behind so it looks neater.

What is it?

This is 2 pieces of hard steel in colors of cyan for CE02 , orange and black for ce04.
It`s our design and manufacturing. not a 3d printed material or plastic. Dedicated only to protect your taillight.

Pros:
This design is not build for traffic accidents , its made only for snapping issue which happens someone is around your bike, or your second is jumping off the bike.

Cons:
If you involve in an accident its most likely you will loose the whole tail because it`s extremely though material, so the connection points will also be dead.

But lets be positive. Dont jinx it...

I have been unable to ride this year due to a back surgery, but I am maintaining mine for a time when I can get back on the road with.

I didn’t notice any change in the two versions to be honest other than the fact that the self canceling turn signals now don’t default to off when you turn the bike off.

It would be great if someone could list the sw updates and what issues and features are addressed in each update.

I've got the new spring version of the OS and there still bugs with in especially the charging system sometime stop working in the middle of the charge, the other thing is in the setting at the end where there is the version of the software there should be also the % of the life of the charging of the battery and it does not show on my version.
Check in the manual it's well written.
It' important to have this info since the battery is 5 years or 40000 km warranty of at least 70% of the charging capacity.
My warranty for my CE04 3 years one will be over next spring, so I need to negotiate with the dealer for a extended one until they fix the bug on the software.
