After Moose Head Lake, I headed to Jackman, one of the last towns before Canada . Not much happening there, so I headed South on RT 201 to the Kennebec River. Stopped for a picture of Attean Lake.
A few miles South of here I saw the the only moose of the trip. Looked like a youngster, it disapeared before I could get out my camera.

On Sunday, I headed home, but, stopped to help another broken rider. He had a transmission problem so there was nothing I could do.I stuck around until the tow truck arrived. The truck had an interesting rig for motorcycles, which worked real well.

In June I will be scouting the route for the September "Notch Tour". WSTEELE sent me some input which is good as he lives at the South end of the tour.
Oh, my last night in Maine, there was a bike from Alabama at the hotel, I didn't see who was riding it, to ask where they were going next.
