Last Friday evening, @Delray stopped by my house for awhile, in the middle of his east-coast traveling. Like me, @Delray has been a long-time member at BurgmanUSA (where he is @DelrayBeacher). Anyone else here also hang out at BurgmanUSA?
I expected him to be kind of weird, as @Delray goes through scooters about the same pace as I go through cases of Pepsi. He's owned Silver Wings, assorted sizes of Burgman scooters, assorted 600/650 BMW scooters, and I think I now have him interested in the 400 Beemer. Be interesting to see a chronology of ownership. I think the HGTV house-flippers learned a thing or two from him.
As it turns out, @Delray is not all that weird at all, and it was nice to meet him and spend some time with him. My wife and I were in a rare tight schedule, going out of town for the weekend, or it would've been a longer visit.
So, if you get a chance to meet up in his travels (he's currently on a new-to-him Burgman 650): recommended.
