New member welcome thread..

Greeting from Thailand, just pick up a last C600 Sport from dealer in Bangkok last Friday. They also don't sell anymore of the C600 here. I'm the lucky last...cheers
Sawatdee krub. And welcome, I cane see you got the best type of the two. Should get best parking spots at motorcycle parking [emoji1]

If you find yourself around pops suberbike near bang kapi mall. Ramkenghang 43 I think. Tell him I said hi.

What was price in thailand? About 300-400k?

Finally got round to signing up - almost 2 years with my c650GT, using it to run into Central London most days for work, but not much else as yet. Only real hassle has been an erratic OBC for the first 6 months which was finally solved through a software update and failed switchgear which was quickly fixed.

Good Morning Everyone. I am just waiting for my new 2013 BMW C600 Sport to arrive! My Christmas present to myself! I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and it is unusually warm here so I think I am going to go for a little ride today.😊

Wow another person from Ontario, if I am not mistaken you are the second one. There are other scooters out here in Ontario but none on this site. We are about 3 hours apart but maybe we will run into each other one day. Enjoy your ride

Hi Joe:

I just purchased a 2013 c600 sport after having a Burgman 400 abs. It is being delivered today. Did you find the transition from burgman to bmw similar? Any advice?

Thank you, Scooter2

Thanks Justscootin! Just wondering if it took you long to adjust to your scooter. I had a burgman 400 previously and am hoping the transition won't be much different.

No transition at all just twist and go. This is the first bike I had since 2000. I picked this one up in October 2012 so I was off a bike for 12 years. The big difference was no clutch and the turn signals being the jap style compared to the BMW left and right thumb toggles. Yes this handles fantastic. (who delivers a bike on Sundays)

Welcome scooter2. I have had my c600 for about a month. It took all of a couple of minutes to adjust from my Aprilia 250 that only weighs 320 pounds vs the 550 of the BMW. I think you will be just fine.
