I replaced my seat a few years ago. As I recall, it's super easy: a few bolts and maybe the 'shock absorber' to undo and re-do. I did not have any instructions when I tackled the job, but found it quite easy when I got into it. Do you have the shop manual? That likely has step by step instructions.

The Corbin uses one less bolt than the stock seat. Be sure you have the bolt.
I bought a Corbin and backrest for my 2020 C650GT a few years ago. It's better than stock, but not great.
If I were in your situation right now, I'd send the stock seat to Russell and have them make a custom saddle. Then I'd sell the Corbin.
I've had Russell saddles on several bikes in the past, and IMHO they are the best. When I bought my 2020 C650GT, I didn't want it to be unrideable for several weeks while Russell had my stock seat, so I bought the Corbin. Big mistake.
