New to BMWs

I just picked up a great deal on a BMW 650 Sport. It was a 2017 model but only had 4k on the clock and was in immaculate condition. I had been riding a Yamaha Xmax. I was planning to get a larger machine at some stage but thieves made the decision for me. I had a downpayment on a Kymco 550 but when I saw this one advertised, I thought I would take a look and one test ride in, I was in love! It's taking a bit of getting used to the different weight and power from my previous ride. I also just had to do an oil top up, which was a bit of a hassle and I am not sure I did the best job putting the footplate back together. But I love riding it and the way it reaches and hold the required speed much better than my Yamaha. Planning to take my first long ride next Friday and then in February I am off on a serious road trip. Will post photos as I go.

Nice, beautiful scooter. I bought one C650 GT 2013, 7300 miles on it. I love this scooter.
I just made an oil change, filter and air filter.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new scooter! I've got a C650 GT and LOVE IT! So much fun to ride and plenty of power. A real "sleeper" amongst maxi-scooters! Ride safe!

Here's a few photos of my 2019 C650GT taken while on a ride in our beautiful Tennessee, USA countryside...south of Nashville. I bought it used sight unseen with 1,500 miles from a Florida private party last June and had it shipped up here. It's been a flawless bike...ZERO issues.

Nice scooter Hammo I have the 650gt and love it ……it just cruises out on the open road! Happy riding!

Nice wheels i have a 2016 C650 GT and love it faster then the Honda Silverwing i had enjoy the ride. Just assume
that people do not see you. I learned that many yrs ago.
