Oil change bolt / nut sizes

Just want to make sure I'm undoing the correct bolts to do an oil change. The main oil change bolt is a star (torqx) bolt and specified as being an M16 x 1.5. I'm not familiar with the M16 designation. The one I think is correct needs a T-50 Torqx bit and is to the Left of the muffler. The other is a 17 mm, black anodized nut and is behind the side stand. This is the nut that is associated with the long strainer. Am I correct? One poster states that the main oil plug is an 8mm allen key. I don't think that's correct.

Even with the Shop manual and printing out the instructions, it took looking at this one link you posted to figure out where the hell the correct drain plug was. Thank you Thank you!!!! For the record and the next guy that looks for "Oil Change" in the search (took me many tries to find this thread), the Manual specifies the drain plug with the Allen head as the drain plug (and the one to change the crush washer on). When you open that up, only about a quart(if that much) of oil will drain out and there is NO screen in there (contrary to what the manual shows). The OTHER drain plug is the one behind the kickstand (17mm) with an o-ring seal and the screen tube. That got me the rest if the missing oil. I went into a panic when all that came out was that one quart. Thought I was running it dry (yes I do regularly check the oil). All good now . Thanks again for the link.
