the sensor in the pic isn't a c600/650 one, it is from an r1200 gs lc. all sensors from all models have about the same travel for the float, the stops are circlips. i hope this pic takes away any fears you guy's have on the subject of your oil warning light's and your main check should be what the dipstick reads.
