Post your CE 04 pics

Hi edcbrown,

They are called Top Block extensions, and I got them from Top Block which is based in France. A check on the Top Block website and I cannot find them, but worth emailing them to check. Another French seller that has them on their website is Tech2Roo.

The extensions are made from aluminium and are designed to fit the OEM top box carrier. Bolts were included. They are not cheap though. At the time I bought them in October 2024 they cost 230 Euros, and totalled 360 Euros including shipping to the UK. Best to check if they ship to the US.

The other option - and a cheaper one at that - is from Shad. They do an extention bracket, but for Shad top boxes. The other more expensive option is Wunderlich who have a top case carrier which will take the OEM top case. That is currently 400 Euros.

I hope this helps.

Seems about time there was a photo thread for a little more atmosphere and vicarious enjoyment, particularly now winter approaches (at least here in the northern hemisphere).

Here is one I took as I returned home from a recent expedition. When I turn off from the main road up-top, I come down through the woods before dropping down into the village. This spot has a fantastic view up to the high moors… when you look in the opposite direction :)

You sold it? Didn't you get it like a few months ago?
Bought it a year ago. Wasn't for lack of love, this was purely a situational sale.

Headed to upstate New York later this week for several months. I bought a '13 Burgman 650 set up for touring that I am shipping north then riding back to Florida in the Fall. The CE 04 is the best machine in the world for bopping around urban streets, but it's definitely not a touring bike (unless you're an enterprising, super patient rider like Triangle Tom ;o).

Could have kept the CE 04 and the Burgman, and would have if it didn't sell this week. But as you can see in the photo, I live in an apartment near downtown and that is my parking space -- which also has to accomodate my beastly big Cadillac Deville.

In the end, I'm an old hippie, "less is more" guy. It seemed better to have one motorcycle vs. two and let someone else love the machine (new owner definitely seemed full of love for it). I"ll own another CE 04, already thinking a '24 in electric blue has my name on it somewhere, someday. I've owned 25 motorcycles and there is nothing else remotely like the CE 04.
