Price Check 16 C650 Sport in TX?

Don't come here often and it is usually only to check for an issue or look for a part. I got 3 cycles and think it is time to get rid of two. Just not riding as much as I used to and as I get older, the TX heat and traffic seems to get worse. I am going to sell the BMW cycle and scooter and keep an 18 SV650 to run errands or go on weekend rides and looking to buy a late model low mileage roadster of some sort. Genesis Coupe, Miata, ATS Coupe, FR-S, BRZ, etc.

Can I get a price check for a 16 Black C650 Sport with 5500 miles. The only mod is I added a Givi top case. I have never dropped it and it has a clear TX title in my name but I bought it from a Honda dealer in FL and when they delivered it, they failed to tell me about a cracked front fairing (minor) or some scrapes on the upper fairing (again pretty minor). I have owned it for 4 years with no issues. Dealer hasn't serviced it but a private mechanic has - oil changes, and new lithium ion battery. There is a service lamp warning light on because one of my high beam lamps is out (seems rather common here). Other than that, no issues and I usually ride it at least once a week to the gym which usually includes a highway run.

Once I get some replies and determine an accurate value (I am thinking $6500), I will post an ad here (with pics obviously) and on a TX Cycle forum I visit often. I will ask full price on Marketplace and offer some type of discount to those here or on the TX forum.

No one? Well alrighty then. I guess I will go with my guesstimate and see how it goes. I sold a Bonnie couple months ago and priced it pretty well I thought and it took me 6 months to sell it.

I bought my 2016 Sport with 1,960 miles, back in April 2018, for $6,500 which was a great deal. I would guesstimate yours at about $4,500-$5,000.

Do you still have mechanical chain tensioner or hydraulic retrofit? I bought one last year with 6k miles for $5400 in showroom condition. Sold it few months later because didn’t want to deal with possible engine failure due to faulty mechanical tensioner. Regret it to this day.

In my experience, the mechanical tensioner will warn you that it needs replacing long before an actual failure: it starts making a rattling noise. This happened on my Sport twice now and both times I had plenty of time to correct it (first time at 2,000 miles by the dealer under warranty, the second time at around 10K milis, replaced it myself). When it starts rattlimg again, I am putting in an adjustable aftermarket tensioner.

I Bought a 2016 Valencia Orange Sport for 7200 with 5000 miles on it 3 years ago. It now has 12000 miles on it with mostly 7 mile trips. I thought the price was pretty fair and I would never sell this bike, such a joy to ride. I had the local Motorad dealer do the Hydrolic tensioner conversion for $1,100 dollars 2 years ago.

No hydraulic retrofit.
