After buying my 650gt unseen 3 weeks ago apart from photos and videos,i was a bit dissapointed that the red wasn't what it looked in the photos it was more burgandy.
It was a white one I was after but the 650's are so rare here in Scotland.
Whipped the panels off and got the local body shop to paint them.
I think it's come out pretty well, painting the bronze parts piano black has certainly made it look newer 😁
I've got a titanium Akrapovic on its way and some new tyres which will freshen it up even more.
Pretty easy to strip down I put all the painted panels back on this morning in 3/4 of an hour.
Love it so far 1200 miles in 3 weeks 😁

The color is vermillion. Last offered in 2013. Make sure all of the recalls have been done and inspect the two ‘idle actuator hoses’. These tend to crack with age and lead to stalling at low speed.

Cheers for that it's a 2012, yeah no recalls outstanding (one of the first things I did was check when I got it) it has full bmw history. when I had the panels off I had a look at the tensioner (looks a new one),fitting the hydraulic one may be a wee winter project at the end of the year👍

Lovely paint job. That Givi top box does look good in white.

What a pity the manufacturers don’t sell it wired for those mock LEDs to work, instead of me having to bodge up a work around.
