+1 on Freez-Out. That is great stuff and relatively cheap when it is on sale, which is often. I think it may be currently on sale - I saw a recent Cycle Gear circular and it was on sale.

Keep riding man, it isnt as bad as you think. Odd think about my temp gauge is the lowest it gets is 49.5 degrees. I gotta get that fixed.

I was watching that thread but didnt see all the recent developments. Thanks for that....I see a trip to the dealership in the near future.

Yeah, due to snowfall and ice on the roads here the past several weeks I haven't checked in with the dealer to see if they finally resolved the problem as I couldn't get it home anyway. From what others have said and all of the things my dealer has tried with no success I have to think that the instrument cluster replacement is the surest cure.
