What is the greatest number of miles you have ridden on reserve, and how much gas did it take to refill?
I've gone at least 26 miles followed by a 3.3 gallon fill.

Well I just traded in my 2017 BMW C650 GT this past Thursday (7/23) soon after I rolled over 10,000 miles. I was getting great gas mileage out of it (64 mpg) the last time I filled up. (The best mileage I ever got was 77.6 mpg the winter of 2018 & 19.) So I had been researching another bike for some time and decided to finally do it. So I bought a 2021 Honda Africa Twin 1100 Adventure Sport ES DCT.
With the trade-in and some extra cash for a down payment, I was able to get it down to 12k to finance. I was more than ready to finally say goodbye to the scoot and the cost of maintenance. So now I have another chapter to go on my new ride.

Fantastic bikes. I added a Honda ctx 700 with dct to my stable a couple of months ago... Love the transmission. It is sublime.

How did you track gas mileage? Dashboard display? Record pump display and odometer at fill-ups? GPS app?

I didn't trust the dashboard display so I did the math myself using the pumped gallons and miles traveled after fill up. More accurate than the dash display.

I use Fuelly on my phone at each fill-up. It's free (but asks you to consider paying for it once a month), and works well. You can even have a banner that shows everyone on forums like this. Example below:
