Scooter Dead..

2018 GT, 4010 miles.

I believe it lost the belt..lots of pissed off rubber smell.

Was doing bout 80 down the highway..lot of unhappy noise and such, engine died...

I did not attempt restart, it wasnt going anywhere anyways.

Just wondering if I folded the valves now too..

Headed to San Jose BMW Cycle in the AM.


Ohh..and Cal Moto is consolidating to Livermore, no more Mountain View location...so..wont be seeing them again.

Mine have 80100 miles now, and I have not problem so far. Good luck body and ride safe.

Came apart at 4,000 Miles? Wow, I can smell the Quality Construction from here...

I failed to update...

Ya, belt turned into spaghetti, bound up the engine pully which killed it...

BMW replaced no cost.

Now..if I could get them to get curious about the fuel odor after a ride, I'd be happy with the service at the dealer.

Guess I'll tear into removing panels to find the greasy dirty evidence of this myself over the holidays.
