Sound of motor riding

Hello all when i had my Silver Wing i was able to listen to the sound of the motor to judge the speed i was going worked really good. Now can you all listen to the motor when riding and listen to it without looking down at the speedometer ? I am doing
this now and works to listen to the motor.

The CVT on the G650GT is designed to keep the motor at 4000 RPM (the torque peak) as much as possible. So RPM is not a good indicator of speed.
