Stop Sale: Not sure if the scoots are included

I like Harleys but never owned one as I felt uncomfortable physically on each one I've tested. I know that they are rumored to have poor reliability, generally, but all of my buddies who own them have had very few issues.

I take that back. The Pan Am was exceptionally comfortable. It's heavy, but man is it ever nice.

If anyone's interested and FWIW:

According to a poster on another BMW motorcycle forum, the stop-sale has been lifted, according to him, according to emails he received from two BMW dealers. There is also a post on Reddit from someone else (I believe) who says something similar, regarding correspondence from another dealer.

OTOH, you know the Internet. I tried locating a PRIMARY source on this, or even something from some e-mag, and have been unable to do so. So this may or may not be true, don't quote my post here as being definitive of anything, YMMV, batteries not included, contents may settle during shipping, and so forth.

Update:

Not sourced from BMW NA or BMW Motorrad, but this certainly seems to me to be a real dealership page in the USA (BMW of Jacksonville, FL):

Here's a screen grab from that FB page (visible to those of us who don't have FB accounts), after scrolling down a bit:

It was also just published in the BMW MOA newsletter. Good to go.

That’s really great news. I wish BMW industries well. I enjoyed Airheads in the past. Hopefully when I get a new 400 GT ( soon) it will be as reliable and I have as much fun with it for the rest of my days.
