Stop-Sell order issued..

Recall issued in Australia too, covers models from 2012-2019. I haven't been notified yet, but it is on the ACCC website and my VIN is on the list.

Talked to the local dealer here who did the original modification on my 2013 a couple years ago. He says that the original fix is having some problems and that they are still having some chafing. If you already had the modification on your bike as I did you'll still need to get the new one done once the parts are available from BMW. Seems the new lines are still a wee bit short. I didn't find any wear before my first recall and still don't. At least it's the front brake which would be better than losing the rear brake. Not a lot of fun needing to stop in a turn with only the front brake.
