I cut off my rear mud guard and put on a £5 AliExpress tail tidy bracket so I can tuck my plates in when necessary . No face no case.

Thats a cool idea and its cheap.

I'm planning on getting the electric carbon fiber flipper from 007plate.com, only down side is the price imo.

That looks bad ass. But I inform you that you cannot tuck the tail on the move as it will be obstructed by the tyre. I only can do it when my weight is off the bike. That being said it's still has saved me time and money.

My plan was to cut off more of the mug guard including the reflector you left on and see if there is room.
Also I think our USA motorcycle plates are smaller than some of the ones in Europe. Ours are only 7x4inches or about ~17.5cm x 10cm
