Where do you find the Mfg date.

Dumb question. Where do you find the MFG date. It must be posted some place on the bike.

I have spent months reading every placard I can find and do not see a Manufacturing Date anywhere.

Doraemon, thanks for the reply. On the GT I see 4 placards under the seat on the forward section but do not see the MFG date. Has to be someplace in all that information.

I think mine was tiny lettering. Also try the right side glove box.

Called the service department today. Said my GT was made November 14, 2012. He also said the date is stamped on the same metal chip next to the strut that the VIN number is listed on.

Further stated my VIN was not in the side stand recall. Good deal, I can ride in the rain.
