Waving (low or high) simply says, "I'm here for yah, brother (or sister)." It's a good thing, IMO, even though there will be those that do not reciprocate. That is kinda how life works, right?

I suggest waving is good for the soul....regardless of how little it means in the grand scheme of things and whether or not the guy or gal on the other side of the road is wearing a bandanna or hi-viz yellow.
