Will a larger tire fit on the rear of the C 400 gt?

I put the next size up tire on my Indian Challenge. I thought it improved the handling just a little and it made my speedometer dead on. I'm wondering if that can be done with the C 400gt?

After doing a search on the internet it does not look like there is a larger scooter tire available so this question may be moot.

Hey, how you doin?

Re the speedo, I believe that's driven off the wheel, so no change there. And keep in mind that while it may be anywhere from 2% to 4% off, per some of my tests, the odo happens to be dead-nuts-on, if that matters.

You talking about a different rear tire on the stock rear rim?

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, I was refering to the next size up rear tire on a stock rear rim. So instead of a 150/70 r14 using a 160/70 r14 or maybe a 150/75 r14. Kepping the rim the same size just adjusting the hight of the sidewall of the tire slightly. The speedometer calculator I posted lets you adjust it closely. And even if the speed is taken off the rear rim it would not make a difference. The slightly larger tire height would adjust the speed. It worked what on my Indian Challenger. After changing the rear tire the speedometer was dead on with my GPS. So I thought why not do the same with this scooter?

The problem is that so far I have not found a tire that is about the same width but is a little taller.
