I have a 2022 C400GT, located in TN. I am wondering if a Carpuride system, any unit model is compatible and if so, how to mount and connect it? Any help would be appreciated. I do have a mount on the scooter, and a wire there, but since I bought used, have no idea what the wire is, what it is connected to if anything. I can post pics if anyone is interested in helping. In addition, there is a wire by the foot well, I am assuming it is for a battery tender, any suggestions as to what type to get to get this working properly. Pics of that wire can also be posted. Thanks in advance for the help.

The Carpuride doesn’t connect to the TFT on your BMW C400. It connects to your phone.

You have to make a decision on whether you want to leverage the BMW Connected app or use CarPlay.

I purchased the CHIGEE AIO-5 Lite about 2 years ago and loving it. Much easier to use with voice commands

Heres my post.

Please post a picture of the mount. Then we can try and advise you.
I currently have a QUADLOCK phone mount on my rear brake master cylinder.

However, considering fitting the BMW mount. Then fitting my BMW Nav 6 or my 7” Carpuride.

C400GT with Carpuride 702 Pro
For those who are interested above is a link to my album with pictures of the Carpuride 702 Pro mounted on my 2024 C400GT with the Wunderlich Universal device carrier
At this moment the electrical connection is made via the USB port in the glove box.
I wil order a connector to connect it directly to the accessorie port in the steering wheel.

I have no good experience with the connected ride app. My phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max) and headset (Cardo) are constantly disconnecting.

On the square bracket, do you think it could be mounted upside down to lower the Carpuride?

Yes, you can mount the square bracket upside down to lower the Carpuride. However, keep in mind that doing so will block the view of the speedometer — it will be mostly or completely obscured.

Apologies for the late reply — I’ve been away on a scooter trip and just got back.

I got the 502 pro coming so I may be ok. I also have the Wunderlich vented windshield so that may be why I have to lower it. That’s why I didn’t go with the 7” one.
Thanks for the info.
