    Fuel Gauge Issue

Has anyone ever gotten a legitimate answer from BMW about our fuel gauge issues? Since new, after fill up, if you don't wait 20 seconds between turning on the key and starting the bike, the fuel gauge never updates. The other issue is, regardless of how long you wait, if the fuel gauge is 3/4 or...

    How long for recall work?

I have open recalls that need to be completed. My dealer is 60 miles away. How long did it take the shop to replace the cam chain tensioner? It would nice if I could just wait for it. The side stand switch and MF switch should be easy. Thanks. Marty in Kerrville

    You may remember me from...

The post back in November: Selling the Beemer... The C650GT was probably the best scooter I've ever owned. Good power and handling, lots of tech (+and -), good build quality., Unfortunately, BMW's handling of issues is disappointing at best. Really couldn't figure who was worse, corporate or...

Took the bike over to the dealer today to reset the Service Indicator. Diag Tool said it was reset, but the SERVICE indicator was still on. He tried it twice, than gave up. Lifting the front...

Need to replace the front tire soon. I am thinking about using a 12"x12" piece of plywood as a platform, and placing the jack under the radiator. There's no place else "forward" to put the jack under. I would then support/stabilize it by hanging it from the grips, using tiedowns attached to the...

    Burning Rubber Smell

I now have 600+ miles on the bike. From Day 1, after a ride, I smell burning rubber. Its not as bad as it once was, but definitely there as I park it in the closed garage. When I went to the dealer for the ECM update, I asked him to note it in case something came of it. I'm concerned it may be...
