SOLD - 2016 650GT, top case, Nav V, Corbin seat, 8,820 miles $6,800, Washington, DC

Sorry for the delayed reply! One or both of the front rotors warped badly enough to have significant vibrations when applying the break at speed. I assume it was only one rotor, but under warranty, BMW replaced them both. The bike went to its new home today! Now...time for me to find my next...

SOLD - 2016 650GT, top case, Nav V, Corbin seat, 8,820 miles $6,800, Washington, DC

For sale is my well-loved 2016 BMW C650GT scooter. It has 8,820 miles. Highline package, including heated grips, electrically adjustable windscreen, etc. It has the BMW top case paint-matched and keyed to the bike, and the BMW handlebar mounted Navigator V GPS (a Garmin product) with up-to-date...

    C650gt

I don’t believe the bike comes with this, but wiring a harness right off the battery would be very easy, and some tenders even come with the wiring harness...

    Bmw c650 gt

Speaking for myself, I don’t have the ability to accurately time this, in a safe way. I don’t have access to a track or timer. It’s a 615 pound cycle making only 44 hp or so at the rear wheel, so I’d expect the numbers to be very slow. Most of us don’t by a scooter for its acceleration.

    Hesitation at slow steady speed

Mine also occasionally lurches when going slowly, though I think mine does it between 20-30mph. I try and hold the throttle perfectly steady, but it lurches again and again. Then the symptom goes away for a month. I’ve not been able to solve it nor narrow down when it happens! But my BMW...

False Oil Check warning is intentional...

My 2016 C650GT was fine until this year’s oil change at the BMW dealership, where the yellow triangle (and when stopped, the Check Oil words) began Oil level is fine, I’ve tried adding a Little, taking some out. It almost always goes away after I check the oil (releasing pressure?) but appears...

    Changing out the rear shock...

I know this is an ancient thread, but did you replace the shock? Pics? How did it ride afterward?

Has anyone tried the Ohlins rear shock?

I’m wondering this, too, SpeedToys. In poorly maintained city streets, I bottom out frequently. Debating whether to try to Wilbers (https://www.beemershop.com/product/wilbers-630-series-rear-shock-damping-manual-pre-load-adjustments-c600-sport-c650gt.html) $670 option, but I can’t find any...

Corbin Saddle for 2nd Gen c650 gt.

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm mostly loving my C650GT and am debating some stiffer suspension (Wilbers 630) and a new seat (versus an alternative cycle altogether), and was really interested in the Corbin. For 9 years I rode a Burgman 650 with a Russell Day-Long saddle which cost a small...

Water in headlight case: problem or acceptable?

BMW says they looked and found no condensation, and the seals all appear to be fine, but they documented it Incase of future problems. I agree that it’s not good. :-(

Water in headlight case: problem or acceptable?

Thanks for your input. The bike is already at the shop to have Both front rotors replaced under warranty, so I sent them these pics. They says it’s not correct, and they would check the seals. They agreed that it would lead to shorter lightbulb life from possibility of corrosion. I’ll let you...

Pics are attached this time! I can't seem to attached them from my mobile phone.

Water in headlight case: problem or acceptable?

While riding in cooler temperatures, water builds up in a few areas inside the plastic shield where my headlights are on my 2016 C650GT. The moisture covers maybe 5 or 6 square inches, but doesn’t obstruct my view much. The bike is under warranty, but I wanted to see if this moisture is normal...

2016 GT with 1,600 miles, top case, Nav V for $7,500 - worth it?

Thanks again. I passed on the warranty but can revisit it as I get closer to my warranty running out. Purchase went smoothly except that a front rotor is a bit warped as I experience a shutter when braking that is worse at high speeds. I’ll get that looked at in the next week. Hanks for all of...

I picked up my used C650GT today - a 2016 with 2,666 miles and a top case and BMW Navigator V! Thanks for the input from everyone.

2016 GT with 1,600 miles, top case, Nav V for $7,500 - worth it?

Thanks for the further votes of confidence. They threw in an oil change and a heated gear plug and I fly to Columbus tomorrow pre-dawn and begin to ride it home. Looking forward to it! I like the white (but do love the new Ocean Blue Matte, also,). Thanks for the advice also on the extended...

2016 GT with 1,600 miles, top case, Nav V for $7,500 - worth it?

Thanks for the suggestions - I believe I got a really good deal! Turns out there was a typo and the bike has 2,666 miles, but with all else checking out, I bought it. It was sold and serviced at the same dealership where it's selling now by a guy in his 60s (adult driven). Not a scratch on it...

2016 GT with 1,600 miles, top case, Nav V for $7,500 - worth it?

Thanks so much for the input. I'm waiting to hear back on when the warranty ends (to be sure I can extend it), and the general condition. It's a 7+ hour ride home, or a really expensive return flight if I get there and don't want it!

2016 GT with 1,600 miles, top case, Nav V for $7,500 - worth it?

Hi everyone, I'd love some advice. You may remember I'm converting from a Burgman 650 Exec. and really like the look and finish of the BMW C650GT, and have test ridden one and liked it. I'm debating whether to buy the below C650GT. It's white (my second favorite color behind the new blue!), and...
