SO here is the story,
I bought a riding ballistic Jersey form some place in CA. They sent the a size larger then ordered but it still was too small. I sent it back Aug 10th. I used pay pal to contact them just to ask if they had gotten it. TO even contact them I had to open a case. I did not want to get hostile with a case but I needed to contact them so I opened it. It's not like I escalated it. I got word back they did not get the item back yesterday. They demanded I provide them tracking info. That was lost might have blown out of my truck for all I know. I did not have it. I was told with out that I would be out of luck so I was not happy right there. I followed their directions in sending it back, they did not issue a RA#.
So I asked them to let me know the minute it came back to them. I got a call an hour later telling me it just came in. They said they would exchange it post haste.
Today I got an email from them saying I needed to cancel the dispute before they can send me the item. So they are asking me to trust them, and I do but I have a problem with that demand since once you cancel it there is no other recourse. See here,

We are glad you were able to use the Resolution Center to amicably resolve your dispute.
Remember, a closed dispute cannot be re-opened or escalated to a claim with PayPal. Make sure that you are 100% satisfied with the outcome of this dispute before you close it.
For example, if the seller is offering a refund, wait until the funds are in your PayPal account before closing this dispute.

All I wanted to do was contact them not open a Federal case but now that it is open, and they want it closed...... Any advice?
