Hello all, Another question about the BMW anti-theft alarm. Wondering if anyone has found a way of installing the software for it without paying a dealer £500. I frustratingly spent a couple of hours trying to find it in the settings only to be told it didn't come with it as standard.

Hi. Go over to the Facebook forum and reach out to a guy who goes by Phad Motorrad. I bet he can do it for you for a lot less than £500.00. He remotes into your bike.

I just had the dealer install mine and they charged me $185 for labor and software update, where are the charging you so much?

Is it necessary to activate the alarm only by software or do we need to insert and buy some hardware components of the alarm (siren, sensors, etc.)?
