BMW NAVI V and mount

Hi there, wondering if anyone else has the navi v with the oem bmw mount and what your impressions are. I really like mine. I have the schuberth metro blue tooth helmet with built in phones and mic. I had an issue using the micro sd card in the expansion slot for media player music storage. The unit died but BMW gave me a new one. Since then I have been scared to put in another sd card. Shouldn't really be listening to music anyway I guess..

I've got the Navigator V and oem mount on my C600 Sport and I love it. I've listened to music while riding on long trips for years but I use satellite radio. I've heard others say they've used an sd card in Navi V with no problems. If I were you, I'd try it again while it's still under warranty.

I got the same thing with my 2013 and got an SD card on which I stored music. It sounds very good. Actually better than my iPhone. I'm using the Sena 20 and pretty much always listen to music. I also use Bose Noise cancelling ear buds to quiet the noise. Okay - I take calls also and etc. Pretty much a tech nerd.

I used to be a tech nerd myself. I was a systems engineer for 16 years. Started out when PCs ran on DOS well before Windows even existed. Finally got fed up with the corporate world, walked away from a 6 figure salary and moved back to Oklahoma to open my own motorcycle repair shop. Money ain't everything and the stress was killing me. I'm much less techy now. Guess I'm just getting old as I still use a patch cord for the satellite radio on my bike rather than Bluetooth.
