C650GT connector under the center of the handlebar cover?

Anyone know what this is for? My first thought was it is for GPS power to be used with the BMW optional GPS. I'd like to use it as a source for my GPS I plan to mount on top of the dash. I haven't tested it yet but if it is power I'll bet it's switched, which is just what I'm looking for. Also, is there a connector that would plug into it?

if it is like the C600 then it is a switched power for the GPS, I tapped into mine and use it witht eh BMW GPS mount and phone mount for my phone.
