Center Stand 2016

Check to see if the parts lists are out for it yet, and if so see if the frame PN is the same. If it is, then it might be a bolt on conversion or at least a good start. The exploded drawings might give an idea also, although, BMW sometimes uses generic drawings in it's parts lists.

I clicked through the parts list and it looks like the new stand used the same Left Side Mount, etc. Might be a straight swap!

I haven't tried the center stand on the previous version but I think the center stand on my C650S is much easier to use than the center stand on my 2013 BV350.

The first two things I checked out when I was shopping the BMW's were A: could I sit on it and reach the ground flat footed and B: could I put it on the center stand. I could not believe how easily a nearly 600lb. bike went up on the center stand. Not a lot more difficult than my Yamaha Vino 125.

I ride my C600 to work everyday, and get to work the bike onto the main stand after every ride. After over a year of doing so, I think it's quite evident that my right arm is bigger than my left!
Doesn't help that I'm merely 5'5" tall, and that makes the difference more noticeable!

I'm looking at the stand drawing, and the models listed that would fit. It seems that this stand is a standard part that will fit all the C models. And honestly, I didn't notice a marked difference in our existing stand, or the new stand. Which makes me draw the conclusion, that the stand might be the same, but the mounting points on the bike itself may have been changed. Either to shift the weight pivot point or for whatever reason that makes it easier to get the bike on the main stand.
