Sena's secret power is the jog wheel. That is what sets it out from the rest. The 3s looks interesting but I'm wondering how easy it will be to use with gloves hands?
As to whether to buy the 5 vs 10. I have the 5fm and it's perfect for what I need. After nearly two years of daily commuting use the wheel was getting a wee bit sloppy so I'd prob not want to have a ton of extra dough tied up in the 10 or 20.

Cool story:
My boss didn't notice my helmet was charging on my desk, so he tried to move it with the usb still connected. It unfortunately destroyed the usb socket on the unit. It still worked, but there was no way I could charge it.
Long story short.... Sena replaced it with a brand new unit. I sent my radio and helmet clamp in and in return I got a complete brand new replacement in factory sealed box. Their customer service is outstanding and I can't speak highly enough on their attention to the customer. The factory warranty is two years and they stand by it.

Our first systems were 'blue ants' . . . . we moved up to Sena's and love them, easy to use. While I haven't blue toothed them to our phones (no need) they can be, along with ipods, etc. We ride two up and on different bikes as the mood changes. Sena also added an optional voice activated camera for those interested.

Good point on the jog wheel Xian. I realized also, that the cost factor really only applies to a single system. At $90 each, that's um...$90 x2; 9x2 =18; take the zero and put it on the end, so I got it: $180 for a pair. On Amazon, the dual pack of SM5 is $180 and I didn't have to do the math; and it gives more features. Just sayin.

Just got a pair of sena smh10. updated both units and installed the one for my helmet. A little tricky but YouTube was helpful. No road use yet but will tomorrow. Took some searching to get the phone working despite pairing right away. I could only get music. In Bluetooth settings on the phone I had to choose phone audio. Will report as it gets used and the intercom feature too whenever I get the chance.
