I finally did get a chance to get out for about 150 miles this past weekend with about 50 of those miles being 2-up.
My first impression is that the Corbin saddle with driver's backrest installed is a tremendous improvement over the woefully inadequate stock seat. I experienced no burning spots nor did I feel the need to squirm around to find a more comfortable position.
My passenger did affirm, as she first stated, that this is the most comfortable seat she's ridden on any of the BMW I've owned. We got her backrest adjusted just right with minimal hassle.
Looking forward to putting some touring miles on as the weather cools down.
