Dr. Pulley weight question

My 2019 C 650 GT is at 12,600 miles so I'm getting ready to change the belt, probably at 15k.

I'm planning on Dr. Pulley sliders and insert pieces. I wasn't sure whether the insert pieces were SP-AH or SP-AE, so I emailed Dr. Pulley -- I mentioned I was planning on installing their 28-gram sliders. Here is their reply:

"The SP-AH fits 2019 BMW C 650 GT, but original roller is 30x20-8* 43 grams (2014~2017 is 33 grams), so 28 grams might be too light."

Huh? This is the first I've heard that 2018+ models have 43-gram rollers. Anyone else hear or know this? I've google-searched, explored BMW dealer parts files, can't find a thing.

Replacing 33-gram rollers with 28-gram sliders worked fine on a previous GT. But if the 2019 rollers are 43 grams, 28-gram sliders won't work well. I'd opt for 36 or 38 gram.

NEXT DAY UPDATE: Dr. Pulley's website recommends 30-gram sliding weights to replace 33-gram OEM rollers for 2014-17 GT's and 40-gram sliding weights to replace 43-gram OEM rollers for 2018+ models. HOWEVER, the BMW dealer parts website shows 2012-14 models have a different part # than 2015+ models. That means, according to BMW, 2012-14 models have 33 gram OEM rollers and 2015+ have 43 gram rollers. If you have any doubts before you buy, I would verify OEM roller weight with a BMW dealer and Dr. Pulley.

I responded to their email saying I am considering 38-gram sliding weights (lighter than OEM = faster pickup) and invited them to share any advice or thoughts. They have a purchasing option for "Classic" or "Euro" so I asked for clarification about that. Will share here when they respond.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE:

Reply from Dr. Pulley clarifying "Classic" vs. "Euro" and their opinion on optimum weight for sliders on 2018 to 2020 GT's ....

"Dear Mike:

The only difference is color, material is the same. Classic is original color; and Euro is black color.

If you may need more acceleration, we recommend you go with 36g, but 36g revs engine higher than 38g~40g, so fuel consumption will be higher. 38g~40g is a balanced choice.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATED UPDATE:

Worth noting: Dr. Pulley was super responsive to my email inquiries. Always got back with detailed answers within a day (keeping in mind they are halfway around the world where it's 2:00 a.m. tomorrow when it's 1:00 p.m. in the U.S. EST). If you have a Dr. Pulley question, they have the answers. Contact info is on their website, www.drpulley.co.

Kudos for another company: I needed a new visor for my Schuberth M1 helmet. Only place I could find one was in Germany at FC Moto. I ordered it last Sunday and, amazingly, it was on my doorstep today (the following Thursday). Delivery was $39, almost as much as the $52 visor, so that wasn't great. But the arrival speed was nice and it came in a fitted cloth bag with Schuberth logo. Website is www.fc-moto.de

I have the dr.pulley 40g on my 2016GT and improves allot overall acceleration (top speed lowered is now 165km/h GPS), make sure you install them well otherwise you get allot of vibrations and increases the faster you go.
Even if you keep same original weight (43g) , since the slide is lower than original rollers means that you still improve acceleration and increase top speed.

in my case since I do allot of high speed highway I miss the top speed with 40g, now with overrange malossi variator I got a bit more top speed but still not enough 173km/h GPS.
