Dropped!!!!

Well.. My scooter was Granite silver.
My dealer offered the out the door including tax title etc. my bike plus $4200 for the new one. I'm keeping my scooter.

I do have some pictures and believe that the damage is mostly cosmetic and can be repaired. It will be perfect as it was before I accept it. I am demanding a loaner as the dealer has some used bikes in his inventory.

The scooter to me is not the same as my cars which are an extension of me. I know my legal rights having practiced for over thirty years but so far have dealt with the dealer amicably.

Thank you for your advice on the forum.

I'm the opposite. My car is a necessary evil to get me through the winter and foul weather. Other than that, it sits in front of my house while my PTWs reside comfortably in the garage. That explains why my 2001 Subaru just cracked 88,000 miles while my 1999 K1200LT has more than TWICE those miles.

I'd demand a new bike. The dealer has insurance to cover losses like this. If he refuses you could contact whoever is up the line from the dealership or at least demand a loaner during the period they have your bike in their shop and hope they don't drop it again.
