Fuel earning light and miles left

Hi all, just getting to grips with my new GT.

Quick question..... When the fuel warning light comes on and the display changes, depending on riding style, how many miles roughly are left? I am more used to the GS display, that when the fuel warning light comes on, it shows how many miles left, rather than it 'resetting' and counting up from zero. Hope I am making sense and not missing something obvious.
