New member here, although I think I've already read just about every post on here. I have a 2009 TMAX right now, in the process of trading it for a 2014 C600 in blue. Dealer doesn't have one but it's on the way. Should have it in a couple of weeks. Very excited.

So, hi everyone!

I traded in a 2009 TMAX last year for my C650GT. Haven't regretted it since. You won't be disappointed!

Welcome! Believe me when I say it, the guys on this board are awesome. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be enjoying the open road on one of the best decisions I've made in a long time.

Hey elamofo,

Don't let the tranquil tones of these guys fool you....They are bikers through and through. Thing is that today's bikers are more explorers than most and your Beemer will help you do that; probably more so than many other types of rides.

Be careful, have a blast, and wave when you see us on the road, brother.

It's all original for the most part. All I added were a few comfort items like heated grips and a xra screen. I would imagine if you started playing the modding game that the C600 with the dr pulley clutch and some variator love would still be faster than a modded tmax.

Just changing the variator and clutch will drop the C600 0-100kph (about 0-60mph) from 7.1 seconds to the low-mid 5's...

In comparison, my brother's stock Tmax530, and my Dr. Pulley Sliders Tmax500 both are 0-60 in 5.8 seconds.

The most bang for your buck is the Dr. Pulley Sliders/Guides and HIT Clutch. You'll HAVE to upgrade the clutch eventually, really soon if you do a lot of start/stop city riding, and the factory rollers are too heavy and wear-out fairly quickly, so just plan to do the mods. As the reliability and performance will both increase HUGELY, there really is no down side to doing the upgrades...

My C600 is at the dealership. Picking it up on Saturday, just in time for the long weekend. Great timing.
