Lubed the center stand

Funny how these things creep up on a person. I've had a bit of difficulty rocking my scooter off the center stand lately and getting it back up on the stand so have been parking in in the garage on the kickstand. I finally got around to putting the bike on the lift and lubing the center stand. What a difference! Easy on and easy off. I just didn't think about it. I've had the same thing on one of my previous Goldwings. Amazing what a shot of oil does putting a 900lb bike on the center stand. Probably should give those things a shot of oil with each engine oil change. Just get in the habit, maybe I won't forget.

The 900lbs referred to a Goldwing 1500, the 1800 is slightly lighter due to its aluminum frame.

I find even with the scooter I will bring it off of the center stand to the side stand then get on (its just easier).
