Hi everyone,

I read the rear tire specs on this site, but can't find the front tire specs :(. I just changed out the rear tire, now its time for the front tire to change. Would like to know the torque on the front :)

Thanks,
Derek

According to what I see:
The bolt holding the caliper to the fork leg needs to be tightened to 28 Nm
The clamping screws that hold the axle need to be tightened to 8 Nm
The quick release axle itself should be tightened to 30 Nm

Those figures are for the C650GT. I'm assuming the same holds true for the C600 Sport. My "manual" is from the 2013 model year.

If you are doing your own work, do yourself a favor and get the service manual. AND, be sure to read your owners manual. It has lots of stuff you should know.

..but where do you get these from at a fair price .....?

I see a listing from that well known auction site for 2016 issue manuals including the Sport and GT for $30.00 (US) plus $4.00 shipping which is nearly 1/3 the price of what I've seen elsewhere. The vendor is in Italy and provides a DVD manual available in several languages. A quick look through his feedback doesn't show much that isn't positive. I've been thinking of getting one myself. They're available in both English for you and US English for me ;).

I checked them out, alas they don't have a manual for a 2017 model. I am unsure if the 16 model and the 17 model have too many things apart .....

BTW, the torque specs are in the owners manual. This forum really isn't the best or complete place to get your tech info, always start with your owners manual and carry it some where on your bike. Look in the INDEX, TORQUE is listed there.

When I was an auto mechanic, I was amazed how few people read their owners manual.
