I did try the search option but didn't come up with much. I have a 2016 C650 Sport and want to put a new battery in it. What have you'll been using? I put a Shorai Lithium battery in my F800GT and would like to put a lithium battery on the scooter too. I'm open to other brands or even traditional batteries. Prefer to order it online.

It's been a long time since I have been here on the forum. Surprised I remembered my log in.

My battery of choice was the: Antigravity Lithium with built in jump start function. It’s got excellent CCA, and very lightweight.

Lithiums are a bit pricey. I like an AGM battery and get the biggest one with the highest ca cranking amps that will fit. Make sure the positive and negative are one the correct side is all

Also you may have noticed all the lithium fires on the news. Mostly during big floods. Lithiums hate cold weather more so than AGM.

Also need another type of chargers to maintain them long term
Good Point. The lithium but instead make sure the voltage is good after 3 months storage. https://www.google.com/search?clien...HbnuDVoQzmd6BAh1EAY&biw=1536&bih=684&dpr=1.25 The AGM battery: one can use a cheap Harbor freight charger: https://www.harborfreight.com/12v-automatic-battery-maintainer-59000.html Myself I just start up and run the scooter until the engine is all the way warmed up. i do this once a month during the heavy winter. If I am away for a couple of months i put her on a trickle charger

When the first gps tracker was installed incorrectly on my 2013 GT it kept draining the battery until I got the full sizes Battery Tender. I had purchased a replacement battery from Napa and before I got the bigger charger I must have exchanged 6 batteries that summer with no hassle from them. Once I had the bigger charger I had no more trouble until I could get a different gps tracker. I’m guessing that they were agm types and after that I had the same battery for six years with no problems until I got hit by a pickup and totaled the bike. After a house fire started by a lithium battery bank I have a hard time trusting lithium batteries.
