New owner questions.

Hi all..
Im a happy new owner of a late 2023 C400 GT in Triple Black. I've been doing some research on connectivity and now have an ebay GPS mount fitted with a Quad Lock Wireless Magsafe for my phone.
It works well with the Quadlock USB Smart adaptor so I highly recommend it. One thing I've noticed on a couple of random youtube searches is a different display on the digital screen in different regions..
Has anyone seen this before.. it looks more interesting than the one on mine.

1) Welcome.

2) Looks different from the one in the USA, too (and I notice that you're in the UK). One of my minor complaints with the display here is that RPMs are available only on the Urban screen, but that screen doesn't display anything else except the speed. I think the version over here would be much improved if the RPMs could be displayed on the My Vehicle display, which shows pretty much everything else (and has that silly waste-of-space display of the image of the scooter -- I already KNOW what the bike looks like). I also think the display could be more colorful, the way BMW uses the TFT on some other bikes in its line-up.

Thanks Bill. Agreed I think the display I have (UK) is a little poor compared to the other BMW displays. Not sure why they have done things differently in other regions.

I've seen this screen on the Facebook C400gt users group page. It is very difficult to tell what real benifits there are other than an improved screen. I guess the video is called Dynamic Upgrad Stock. Or is that the name of the software? It appears to be a software upgrade to the screen but also claims many performance enhancments . Most of what I have seen about it is translated from what looks to me like Chinese. Not sure if the link below will work but this is on the facebook page. There are many claimes attributed to the software like it will improve engine performance and improve your suspension. (There is no way it is going to improve your mechanical suspension on this scooter. But as the program is available for other BMW bikes it is possible that it works for them.) It would have been nice if BMW had implimented better screens like the ones in this vidio. I'm confused by it.

I'm confused, too: c. 112 mph out of the C 400, stock or modified, seems a bit much to me.

This appears to be the same guy, or shop, or something, that is involved in adding internal (I think) TPMS sensors to the C 400, and then showing that info on the TFT:
