Finally! My local dealer happened to get a 2016 C650GT with premium package and it is black.
We worked a deal and bike is mine! It was still in a huge crate and they started assembly when I left and will pick it up tomorrow. I've been trying to get a GT in previous years as there are a fair number out there and some with great price reductions. Unfortunately, the repair parts for the recalls were still not available and they could not sell to me. The 2016's have all the repairs completed from factory and it really has some great upgrades. Thinking karma helped me out and the wait will be worth it in the end. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Already looking at the maps for some high mileage rides. I'm very excited. Also, a big thanks to this forum for all the tips and articles. I researched the heck out of these scooters and besides being informative it was fun!
