Great forum. I have enjoyed surfing so now time to post.
I have been riding scooters since I was 16. (now 56). Purchased my BMW scooter just over 2 years ago and ride year round.
Did an iron butt on it last June. Vancouver - Cache Creek - Quesnel- Prince George - Valemont - Blue River - Kamloops - Vancouver. 1730 km. 18 hours 38 minutes. Awesome day! Saw deer, moose, bears and more all in 1 day. Now planning a 2 day iron butt June 20th. 3,200+ k in 48 hours or less.
I see some from Calgary on here. Have ridden there a few times from my home in Vancouver and will be back there this August. (Use to live in Garrison)
Like some others, had stalling problems when new. All resolved. Love the scooter
