Question for C650GT owners

G’day folks,
I have test-ridden a GT version and have a specific question that I hope someone could answer.
I am a tall person and prefer my legs fully stretched forward during long rides.
However that “rider back support” pillow interferes, and unlike on the Sport edition, I am not able to occasionally sit on it to stretch my legs. I am 188cm tall.
Question - is that pillow removeable, and what is underneath? Is it a hard place under, or cushioned and comfy to ride on.
I really need that extra leg space, have arm length to reach handlebars no problem.

Thank you.

Two bolts to remove. Three mounting positions on support. If not if most rearward position try it there first. Otherwise there are two holes in the seat upholstery to fill/cover.

Easy to remove. Ugly as sin. Uncomfortable. And unlike a Burgman 650 or Silver Wing 600, removing it doesn't add leg room.

Corbin makes a custom seat for the C 650 GT that offers more legroom. You can increase that by asking them to "push back" one inch from normal specs. The seat costs around $1,000 but it's gorgeous.

Thank you both.
I understand there is next to no padding under, which is a deal breaker.
Damn. C650 Sport was almost perfect, at least I could cut out extra padding from the original seat right up to the seam between pillion and passenger.

If you are not committed to the GT - I am 187 cm myself and love the seating position on my 2016 Sport, standard BMW saddle.

G day Rollacosta, yes it does come off. It's not too pretty without, but can be done. I pull the "bump" off to put down a seat cushion of sheepskin, then remount the "bump" thru the sheep cover. IKEA has great ones that are pure/real sheep, not man made.
