Don't forget to return the plates. #2 in the diagram.
I had to replace mine after 6200kms. Traffic in this country is horrendous.
I am at 35000km about 21000 miles will be replacing my pads this year at some point
I also have a question. What is the minimum rotar thickness recommended?
Why? In Canada it is not allowed to re-pad them, probably the same in the USA
Really? So you let it wear down till it's metal to metal and no brakes?
I think you misunderstood me, you can replace the pads but the old ones can't be refurbished
Unless under certain circumstances like a classic car that you can't buy a replacement
Does anyone have any experience with EBC brake pads? I got myself a set (2 pairs for the front, and 1 for the rear) at SGD$180.
Front - SFA142HH
Rear - SFA196HH
Any opinions on this?
The HH pads are sintered.. And, it's in SGD.. So I'll have to do a x1.5 / x1.6 to a USD. And include shipping. And since I bought it from a workshop here, they charged me $20 to get it installed. Didn't have a choice since my pads were worn thin, and I didn't want to wait a month for the pads as I commute to work on the C600.Am I missing something? I did a search for EBC SFA-142 & SFA-196 ( Non Sintered) and pads for 3 rotors would cost $23 each for a total of $66 for a complete set of new shoes.
