good morning all. i now have 100 miles on my new scooter(2014 blue) it fits me alot better than my beloved yamy t-max or my burgy 650 or even my swing 600! so far happy with it, not too pleased when it was delivered by the dealer as someone had test driven it before i bought it and the underside was caked with mud..not too happy especially on a brand new bike! i am so anal and picky about my mc's and scooters! well, as i learn to live with this scoot, i will pass along anything i find right(or wrong) with her. kind of being mechanically inclined, i will let the bmw guys do their thing during the warrenty, but will be learning myself on how to take this thing apart if need be..kind of slow on takeoff(but will take care of that next spring}, but she is great on the open roads! it just fits my 6'-2" 260lbs frame better. i had to take it easy from mc's for awhile as i heal from a few operations on my back and neck..but like my buddy told me three years ago, try a scooter, any scooter and you will be hooked...and he was right! safe travels to all! scott

Geez, Scott. That stinks the way your beemer was delivered. Not the end of the world but, yeah....

I imagine you'll be reconsidering your dealer choice for maintenance work.

well, they were nice enough, but i was not too happy..they are about 50 miles from my house, then next closest bmw dealer is 110 miles..hopefully it was just a glich and i will be treated great by them..time will tell..

Nice to have someone who has been riding other scooters besides the Beamer. There is a post from a man asking about the beamer fitting him since he is a bit heavier than yourself and about as tall. . . . maybe you can give him some info? Hopefully your dealer doesn't suck . . . . or continue to suck. I'm about to turn over 29,000 on my 2013 GT and it has been a good machine so far.

i got a call from bmw home office..i filled out a questionaire that they sent me..told them my new scooter was a covered in mud on the underside when they delivered it to me..he said he was sorry for the condition, then listened to me about mc's and scooters that i have had(150 and counting) told him this was my first bmw product and hoped that it works well for me..
