System Update

Today 6/19/13 I had my first service on my C600. Amongst the normal stuffs the tech told me that an Update was also flashed into the computer. Something to be aware of when you bring your bike into the shop going forward. I have only ridden the bike 15 highway miles home from the shop, but I can say that I feel that the real time mpg indicator is reading a higher mpg than I remember. It still sits at about 65.2 at speeds over 70mph, but in slower commute traffic or on the mellow at 30 to 50 it seemed to read much higher than I remember. But then I could be totally wrong. Anyone else have the Updated System Flash??

No idea what the update changed. Next time I'm at the dealer I'll ask. All I can say is that I certainly do notice better economy at the lower speeds. Economy still sucks off the line but once she's moving it seems to run with less fuel consumption. I see somewhere between 75 and 100mpg on the gauge between 30 and 50ish mph. I was also thinking that the stalling issues that have been reported might have been solved. Mine stalled just a few times but now it's rock solid.

I'm curious to know as well. I just had my first service done and had the software update also. The service adviser said it was a dashboard update. No change that I could see in change to mileage however. Seems about the same.

i carried out my update at my pdi, i can't report on mpg readings but during the update it does re-set the throttle position so i assume this is to do with peoples idling and starting problems. the main update is to do with the kombi (clocks).
