Oil Oil Oil - I don't get it, on my Kia EV-6 trans-axle I get 20,000 miles before a check and on the BMW CE-04 in just 600 miles you have to dump $50 oil for what. All you really need to do is pull the magnetic drain plug clean it and stick it back in to remove any filings. You can't tell me our little motor is going to burn or destroy this high-grade oil in only 600 miles.

Anyhow I'm going to buy a quart just so I can say I changed it to keep the bike in warranty. Also look at the range of price on this oil what a scam. There's no way this gear oil should cost more than $10. The whole service deal stinks, there's nothing to do other than belt tightness which no dealer has a belt gauge and the kick-stand brake, now that would be tough to check out right?

It is made out of dead dinosaurs, or from the blood of Mother Earth, depending on which hydrocarbon origin theory you stand by.

LOL Typical BMW BS regardless if it's cars bikes or whatever there's an extra 40% to line their pockets . . .

But I do really like my CE.

For context the shaft drive BMWs get the final drive oil changed in the first service.
I personally don't have a huge problem with it as it would reveal manufacturing defects.
The CE 04 next oil change is at 40,000km or 24,000 miles which is pretty good.
