"other sites that I can look for a BMW scooter or a Burgman 650?"
I think inventory is down across the board. Maybe people are hanging on to what they have because of the virus. Since I bought my first maxi-scooter on Christmas Eve 2016 (Silver Wing), I bought and sold three more Wings, two BMW C 650 GT's and I'm now on my third Burgman 650. It used to be like catching fish in a barrel. Lots available. I'd hunt for a great deal, update the maintenance, enjoy it for awhile, clean it to showroom condition and sell for a break-even price or modest profit.
For awhile, I had both in my garage, the BMW and Burgman. When I decided to keep one, the Burgman just felt right. Pneuby correctly points out its softer suspension and ponderous handling, especially at slow speeds, like a parking lot, where the Burgman feels like you're manuevering an old bathtub. The reason I kept it was it's the king of smoothness; Suzuki's transmission is the best out there.
If it were a horse, the Burgman would be Old Paint, the trusty Palomino that will never let you down. She's not as quick and doesn't cut as sharply as other horses -- like that frisky BMW scooter that almost begs to be put through its paces. But man, if you want reliability, smoothness, weather protection, seat comfort, technology, the big Burger has it all. That said, I'm about to buy a new home that has enough garage room for a second bike, and there is a 1000% chance that bike will be a BMW C 650 GT.
Sidebar to Evil Twin, obviously a Spock fan. I saw an original Star Trek episode last night for the first time that knocked me out. It was about Spock returning to Vulcan to get married. I was riveted, wanting to soak up everything about life on planet Vulcan. The episode was from 1967; that show was WAY ahead of its time.
